Make Not Take in 2013
One Another has joined the roster of Self Aware Records. They, in alliance with Powerstance will release our first full length LP, ‘Make Not Take,’ limited to 300 records in late summer/ fall of 2013.
For us, Self Aware just sounds like the name of a label that would end up helping put out ‘Make Not Take.’ It’s a record about growing up, ditching your ego, and beginning to function productively in an age that is buzzing with unprecedented global communication as well as economic, therefore emotional trauma. …in the form of pop and punk rock songs.
We are having a really amazing time making the record. Spent a lot of time demoing and in preproduction after our main recording console went down in January. The bump in the road has since fixed itself in a natural, communal way and the record is probably going to be better for it. Dede is about to lock himself in at the Radpad and bang out all the drums like the boss he is. Artwork, guest performers, new instruments, videos, track listing etc… We will try to share much of this process with you over the rest of the year.
We’ll also show our faces here and there. (Mostly in NC/SC cuz we got work to do.)
